Is it possible to convey oneself to the Other? And to truly perceive what the Other is? Are we comprehensible to ourselves enough to express outward something essential about the very fact of our own existence?

Through abstract painting, artist Andrey Kazmin raises the question of the limits of communication and reflects on the formal conventions that are an inseparable part of this exchange. The works from the series P-32 address the contradictory feeling of being enclosed within one’s own inner worldview, combined with the need to be revealed and to enter into interaction
